A Kit Carson County Commissioner, Mr. Whitmore was appointed to the Board of Directors in February, 2003. He brings to this board his many years of experience from managing his own farm and ranch. Mr. Whitmore also gained valuable experience designing, reviewing and submitting new legislation policies, implemented through many years of service on the Kit Carson County Farm Bureau Board. Mr. Whitmore developed his talents in work with and developing liaison relationships between committee members and people in the community from years of service on the Plains Ground Water Board and was efficient in assessing and managing financial objectives as a board member of Burlington Equity Co-op Board. He believes in giving back to the community and is willing to serve to the best of his ability.
