Cheyenne County is located on the frontier plains of Colorado, located between Kit Carson, Lincoln, & Kiowa Counties and bordering Kansas to the East.  Cheyenne County is the home to many farmers and ranchers of Colorado.  Cities located in Cheyenne County include Cheyenne Wells, the county seat; Arapaho; Kit Carson; and Wild Horse.  Both Kit Carson and Cheyenne Wells are home to local School Districts. 

Cheyenne Wells is the home of the Tumble Weed Festival each year in July.  The Festival includes an all night baseball and softball tournament, and down town fun and games for all.  In September, Kit Carson Days celebrate Kit Carson and all it has to offer.  The day includes a parade, a dance, a melodrama, and fun for all.  The county also has a fair for each member of the county to come and display their garden produce, crafts, livestock and their cowboy skills.  To visit Cheyenne County is always fun and exciting.
