| Centennial Mental Health Center administers HUD vouchers for people with severe and persistent mental illness to obtain affordable housing. Centennial has 23 vouchers to use in its 10 county area. Vouchers are awarded according to availability and determined need. Vouchers are a contract between a participant, a landlord, and the HUD program. HUD will pay a percentage of a participant’s rent based on their income and family size. Individuals must be enrolled for services with Centennial to apply. Eligibility is determined from five criteria: very low income, disabled, receiving services, HUD preferences, and verification of Social Security number(s). |
