MANAGED PHARMACY BENEFITS PROGRAM This program is designed to assist clients who cannot afford psychiatric medications that have been prescribed for them through CMHC. Eligibility is based on the consumer’s income, the cost of the medication, and their mental health needs. Centennial Mental Health Center receives approximately $50,000 from Colorado Mental Health Services to purchase medication for consumers. Through additional funds Centennial provides and donations from pharmaceutical companies, over $140,000 each year are expended on pharmacy benefits for consumers. It is a short-term solution for consumers obtaining their medications. Centennial can also assist individuals in finding affordable medications, through other sources such as manufacturer sponsored programs. |
