County information

Yuma County is located in the northeast corner of Colorado.  The population of Yuma County is approximately 9, 670 people.  The county seat is Wray, CO which is located just 17 miles from the Nebraska border.  Centennial is fortunate enough to have two offices in Yuma County - one in the city of Yuma (population approximately 3,000 people) and one in the city of Wray (population is approximately 2,000).  People from all over the county travel to these two sites to receive mental health and substance use disorder services.

Smaller towns in the county include Eckley, Vernon, Joes, Kirk, Idalia, and Laird.

Centennial offers a variety of services in Yuma County with 8 clinicians and 3 support staff members.  Services are available for people of all ages.  We offer therapeutic services, as well as educational and preventative information and presentations in our communities.  Our staff regularly partners with DSS, schools, probation offices and a variety of other community organizations to ensure that our clients are getting the best treatment possible to meet their needs.  We help our consumers get services however possible - whether it's through Medicaid, Medicare, DSS funding, private insurance, CHP+, or self-pay on a sliding fee scale.

Services provided

Individual counseling, groups, play therapy, marriage and family sessions, support services for the chronically and persistently mentally ill, substance abuse services, emergency on-call coverage and assessments, psychiatric medication services, and more extensive evaluations as needed.

We also provide parenting classes, psycho-educational services, and consultation services to a variety of community agencies when needed.
