Reports to: Executive Director Type: Exempt Position Summary: Assists Executive Director in development and implementation of Centerwide marketing strategies. Develops and coordinates Centerwide training programs. Collaborates with Management Team to identify grant opportunities & pursue such funding. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Serves as a resource for Centerwide staff in the areas of marketing, public relations and training. 2. Develops and implement clinical internship training institute in conjunction with colleges and universities. 3. Assists the Human Resources Department in conducting interviews for hiring of clinical staff. 4. Serves as Field Quality Improvement Officer by investigating and facilitating resolution of concerns, complaints, and public relations issues with local community agencies and consumers. 5. Responsible for supervision and oversight of CMHC’s Consumer Service Representatives (CSR) and Parent and Family Advocates (PFA). Reports findings and recommendations to the Quality Improvement Committee. 6. Assists in development and implementation of marketing strategies to meet overall Center plans and generate additional revenue. Assists in the development and implementation of a center wide marketing plan; works towards better community understanding of mental illness and available services. 7. Promotes the Center’s services to the public and business community. 8. Conducts or participates in surveys concerning related resource issues as they pertain to marketing and training of staff. 9. Assists in developing, planning and delivering education and training to clinical and support staff. 10. Provides technical and administrative support regarding a variety of issues, special projects and research as assigned. 11. Develops funding proposals, including new proposals as well as refunding proposals to former grantors. 12. As directed by the Executive Director, represents Centennial in state and BHO-sponsored work committees. 13. Maintain regularly scheduled communications and presence with key community stakeholders in each county. 14. Performs other job duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Education: Master's degree and Colorado Licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist preferred. Experience: Experience in research, writing, and grant management . Evidence of negotiation and mediation skills that ensure positive outcomes for both Centennial Mental Health Center and community stakeholders. Abilities, Knowledge, Skills: Thorough understanding of community mental health and substance abuse treatment industry, including clincial programming, support services and fiscal aspects of planning and service delivery in both small and large markets.. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Team player with good listening, negotiating and persuasion skills. Ability to travel within the Center's service area or to other locations as needed. |
