Deb Rykken returned to Centennial as County Director for Kit Carson and Cheyenne Counties in 2008. She has served in mental health in various capacities since 1987 including a position as the County Director for Centennial in Washington and Yuma Counties from 2003 to 2005. Her clinical areas of expertise include mental health therapy for those who have Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorders, Thought disorders, PTSD, Trauma and in the Disaster Response Program developed by the State Department of Mental Health. She also received intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, developed by Dr. Marsha Linehan, in 1999 and 2000. 

Ms. Rykken has been in management since 1999 specializing in areas such as clinical supervision of staff and interns, program development, collaborative community relations, team development and training including disaster response training. She has developed these specialty areas for both urban and rural community mental health centers with a particular emphasis on rural community mental health. 

She currently oversees programs in Kit Carson and Cheyenne Counties. Services include: Individual, group, and family services. We treat all age groups including young children to older adults. We provide OBRA Evaluations on an as needed basis, crisis services and substance abuse services as needed.
